Living in Kampot, our guide "Papa Gogo" advises you to come between December and June to have the best tour. Otherwise, the tour is possible but you could expect to be very soaked in the rainy season.

Bokor National Park
The first part is on the open road but your guide ensures your safety. We climb to the Bokor plateau at around 1,000m altitude where we find beautiful waterfalls and a landscape different from the rest of Cambodia. A new road is under construction to reach the western part of the massif and goes into the primitive forest of Bokor where we can find wild orchids. Actually (end of 2023), new routes are opening on the plateau and Papa Gogo loves to explore this place and of course share his discoveries. |

The salt marshes
This route is interesting for nature lovers, especially if you want to start early to see the local wildlife. Lots of stops for photo shoots in the salt marshes and more of an easy-access path than road. From February, you can watch the Kampot salt harvest, a grueling job in stifling heat. Fortunately, riding a motorbike refreshes us well but you need to bring a good sunscreen. |

Pepper plantations
You like to ride on dirt roads and that's what we're going to do: After the ferry, we will follow dirt roads and cross small villages. I strongly recommend taking a break near the “Secret Lake”. We decide if we're going to eat the excellent LokLak at the pepper plantation or the stuffed crab at Kep! Then let’s go to the “Secret Beach” or Angkol beach which in 2024 will become the 2nd official beach in the Kep district. It's time to relax by the sea in Kep and swim in the warm sea depending on the time. We end the tour in the salt marshes of Kampot where the sunset is magnificent for lovers of beautiful photos! |
PS: road connections are necessary so as not to return to late to the hotel.

Required experience: Must be able to stand on the motorcycle and ride a few hundred kilometers a day.
Note: The route is made of tracks and easy secondary roads. The grip condition can be affected by rain, so it is important to be prepared for it.
