This tour in the south of the country between Phnom Penh and the beach of the South is for everyone.

A first step that is a bit long and then relaxing on the road: take regular breaks for taking photos and not suffer from high temperatures of the afternoon (or the rain depending on the season).

The circuit is a mix of asphalt roads and paths.

Where does this adventure bring you?

Discover the southeastern part of the country.
Visit Chipat, Sihanoukville, Kampot, Takeo.
Travel about 1000km on 80% asphalt and 20% dirt.

DAY – 1 | PHNOM PENH | MEETING

You are welcome to reach our luxurious hotel around lunchtime so as not to miss our 2:00PM appointment. We take you by Tuk-tuk to take possession of our motorcycles in the early afternoon at the Royal Enfield showroom in Phnom Penh. We take the time to discover them with a first ride around the concession and if we have time, a short visit of Koh Pich Island, towards our hotel.

At 5:00PM, our briefing is held to present the team and the equipment, which ends with a drink and dinner that are offered to you to get to know each other.

Important information:

After picking up our motorcycles from our partner Royal Enfield Cambodia, we don't ride anymore today. This is our day of meeting and preparing for our 5 days of travel.

This tour includes some stages of more than 200km. You need a good physical condition and motivation to enjoy all the landscapes you cross.

DAY 1 | PHNOM PENH TO CHIPAT | 260 KM

The start is early for this first day. Once out of the capital, we head to Buddha Kiri, a unique site with tens of thousands of sitting Buddha.

Then we follow the road to take the ferry to Chipat Eco Village in time. A good night's sleep over a river will be necessary.

Note :

260 km in Cambodia is not like in Europe, it takes 5 to 6 hours in the saddle to cover the day's distance

DAY 2 | CHIPAT TO SIHANOUKVILLE | 150 KM

A mountainous road, beautiful landscapes, crossing plantations to Kheo Poh and finally the beaches of Sihanoukville Bay are revealed during this stage.

The evening can only go well, starting with BBQ by the sea at sunset.

Accommodation included: a luxury resort with swimming pool near the beach of Otres.
Meals included: breakfast and lunch on the road.

DAY 3 | SIHANOUKVILLE TO KAMPOT | 210 KM

A day for adventure by crossing the famous Bokor Mountain, from West to East by the new road under construction...
A beautiful course, not too demanding to finish but it depends a lot on the changing conditions on this road.

There's nothing like an ending of the route on Kampot river and enjoying the well-deserved aperitif.

Note:

Another option is to drive along the coastal road through Ream and take the direct road to Kampot | 120KM.

In this case, we can consider a break at "La Plantation" and finally try the real fresh green Kampot pepper!

DAY 4 | KAMPOT TO TAKEO | 150 KM

A beautiful day with few stops:

We will follow the coastal road to the border of Vietnam and go back to the rice fields in Takeo.

Foodies will enjoy breakfast by the sea in Kep.

A little magic in the Kampong Trach cave, a few tracks in the salt marshes and a meal break by the roadside, we have time.

Last stop for our hotel near Takeo.

Meals included: breakfast and lunch.

Note: You can enjoy the night more than usual and sleep more in the morning because the next day is a short stage

DAY 5 | RETOUR VERS PHNOM PENH | 160 KM

Last day on a bike in Cambodia, we will take the opportunity to cool off at the Mlech Dam lake.

The brave will visit one last temple, the Chisor Mountain Temple, just the road to get there is fantastic...

We have to reach Phnom Penh, the capital, but we will take secondary roads and follow the Mekong and cross its fishing villages.

A good massage to get back in shape and it will be time to toast one last time in the Bassac Lane district.

Accommodation included: the same class hotel as at the beginning of the tour.
Meals included: breakfast and lunch.
Massage included: relaxing four-handed massage for one hour.

Note: It's your last day on the bike, the massage allows you to get back in shape to forget the aches or cramps after this trip filled with many memories.

THE DAY AFTER | PHNOM PENH

You can sleep in. The tour is over and a free day in the capital of Cambodia awaits you.

The shuttle service is available at the hotel.

Accommodation not included.
Meals included: breakfast.

SUMMARY

Supervision and additional information:

For this tour, 1 or 2 captains (a team leader and a back leader) and no assistance vehicle but luggage transport included.
The motorcycle booked is a Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 (included in the price).
The advertised price of 1890 USD is variable and adapts to your personal requests (cheaper rooms or more comfort, it's up to you). The tour adapts to you and not the other way around!

Experience required:

To have done a few thousand kilometers, to know how to stand on the motorcycle.

Note:

The route consists of relatively rolling tracks or trails. However, the grip conditions change at the slightest shower. The layout can easily be transformed into an ice rink. A driver with a minimum of experience on the trails will be more reassured on this course.
